Erin K. Melley, PA-C

Erin Melley, PA-C joined the IDI team in 2001. She graduated cum laude from Georgetown University and received her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Erin is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed by the state of Illinois to practice and prescribe medicine. She is a fellow and member of both the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and the Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (ISDPA).

She has received intensive specialized training in dermatology from her physician colleagues over the last decade. Erin is qualified to perform a comprehensive dermatological examination, diagnose, treat, and prescribe appropriate therapy for all dermatologic conditions. She is skilled and experienced at performing biopsies, cryotherapy, photodynamic therapy (PDT), Blu-U treatment, and chemical peels. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages, connecting with them and educating them about their skin. Erin has a special interest in adolescent dermatology and acne therapy and has a weekly Tuesday evening clinic dedicated to these patients. Erin is an asset to our practice and has further enhanced the accessibility and delivery of quality care to our patients.
