David A. Lorber, MD

David A. Lorber, MD, has over 23 years of experience providing comprehensive dermatology services in our Skokie and Northbrook offices. He has been recognized as Teacher of the Year for his contributions to the dermatology education of medical students, dermatology residents, and internal medicine residents. Dr. Lorber is a senior clinical instructor for Evanston and Glenbrook Hospitals now known as NorthShore University HealthSystems and an adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor in the Northwestern University Department of Dermatology. He also recently has been appointed to the teaching staff of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.

Dr. Lorber graduated with his Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign where he was honored as Phi Beta Kappa in his junior year. He then received his medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical School. His postgraduate training included an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University, McGaw Medical Center Evanston Hospital, where he also was selected as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Lorber then completed a 3 year residency in Dermatology at the University of Illinois Medical School.

Dr. Lorber is board certified in both Dermatology and Internal Medicine but specializes his practice to dermatology 100% of the time.

Dr. Lorber has been listed among the Top Doctors by Chicago Magazine numerous times and has also been honored as a Top Doctor in the Chicago Metropolitan Area by Castle Connolly.

Dr. Lorber looks forward to work each day and feels it is a privilege and an honor to be a physician. He appreciates the wonderful relationships and friendships he and his patients have enjoyed over the years. Dr. Lorber cares about each patient and feels every interaction is meaningful for both his patients and himself.

Nona M. Craig, MD

Dr. Nona Marie Craig is a board-certified dermatologist with over 20 years of medical experience, currently providing comprehensive care at the Illinois Dermatology Institute in Skokie and Northbrook, as well as holding Attending privileges at Evanston and Glenbrook Hospitals, and serving as a Clinical Instructor at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She has been recognized as a Top Doctor in the Chicago area by Castle Connolly on numerous occasions.

Dr. Craig graduated with Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Harvard University, and then received her medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School. Her postgraduate training included a residency in Internal Medicine at Evanston Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident, followed by an additional residency in Dermatology at Northwestern University, once again serving as Chief Resident of the department.

Outside of her training and practice experience, Dr. Craig remains actively involved in the field of dermatology through her membership in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology and Chicago Dermatological Society. She has participated in several research studies, the results of which have been published and presented on local and national levels.
